Each tab is about 3.33 inches tall along the binding edge, extends 0.5 inches past the 8.5 × 11 body, and finishes at a 9 × 11 sheet — the standard for 3-ring binders. Need more than 3 sections? Sets simply continue in a second bank, staggered below the first.

On a standard letter-size divider, each 1/3-cut tab is about 3.33" tall along the binding edge and extends 0.5" beyond the page body. The finished sheet is 9 × 11 inches.
How many tabs do I get with a 1/3 cut?
