Frequently asked questions

Can I use Tabzoola's data in my own work?
Yes. Every file is licensed CC BY 4.0: use, quote, republish and build on it, commercially or not, with credit. The short form is "Source: Tabzoola (tabzoola.com)".
How do I cite the Tabzoola datasets?
Tabzoola (Anselmo Die & Index), Schaumburg, Illinois. Tabzoola Custom Index Tab Open Data. Zenodo. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23253693. The DOI always resolves to the newest archived release; each file's page and date are at tabzoola.com/open-data.
How often is the data updated?
The price, capacity and question files are generated from the live pricing engine and the site's pages, so the files on tabzoola.com are current as of each site update and carry that date. The archived copies on GitHub, Hugging Face, Kaggle and the Internet Archive are refreshed monthly. Court rules are rechecked on a rolling schedule and each row carries its checked date.
Is any customer data in these files?
No. The tab-title files are aggregated from the manufacturer's production records and publish a title only when at least three different companies ordered it. Brand, store and building names are removed, and no customer is identifiable.
