A court date, a filing, an audit, the first day of tax season — when the date is fixed, the only question is the last day you can safely order. This calculator answers it with the plant’s own math: production time plus live UPS Ground transit to your ZIP, computed in reverse.
How the math works
Three numbers, chained backwards from your date. UPS Ground transit from Schaumburg, Illinois to your ZIP comes from UPS’s live time-in-transit system — one business day across the Midwest, one to three for most of the country. Production is about 5 business days standard or 3 with rush, counted from when you approve your free PDF proof (drawn instantly while you design, so same-day approval is normal). The 3:00 PM Central cutoff decides whether today still counts. The result is the honest last order-by date for each tier — and when standard makes it, the calculator says so, because paying a rush fee you don’t need is how buyers learn to distrust rush fees.

What if the calculator says even rush won't make it?
Call the plant at (847) 397-1200 with the real date before giving up. The online tiers are the promises we can automate; with the press schedule in front of us, expedited shipping in place of ground, or a partial set covering the immediate need, a date the calculator rejects is sometimes still makeable.
Does the deadline clock start when I pay?
It starts at proof approval — and since the PDF proof is generated instantly while you design, approving within minutes of ordering is normal. The cutoff is 3:00 PM Central: approvals after that start the production clock the next business day, and the calculator's order-by dates already account for it.
Is the delivery date guaranteed?
It's an estimate built from the two most reliable inputs available: our own published production times (the same figures checkout quotes) and UPS's live time-in-transit data for your ZIP. Weather and carrier exceptions can move a ground shipment; when a date is truly immovable — a hearing, a filing, a closing — say so when you order and build a day of slack.
Which deadlines do people usually calculate?

The demand curves peak in December–January and August — order a week ahead of the crowd and the calculator stays boring.
